Full day walks are held every Tuesday of 7 to 9 miles. We also arrange a local morning’s walk on two Thursdays each month of 4 to 5 miles. The walks are open to people of all ages, but are designed for those over 50 years of age to have enjoyable and relaxing days in the countryside, while at the same time promoting health and fitness. As such, some of the walks may be challenging. There is no charge, but an annual voluntary contribution to cover Public Liability Insurance may be called for. Walk start times are normally 10.00 am, but may be later for extended journey times. Start times will be confirmed to members.Participants are advised to carry adequate food and liquids for the duration of the walks.
